Terms of Use

Effective: August 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the PRIMATE app and our website, primate.health (together, the "Service"), operated by Primate Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("Primate", "we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What PRIMATE is — and isn't

PRIMATE is a wellness product. It reads your health and fitness data, analyses your meals and lab reports, and gives you scores, estimates, and suggestions — including your Body Age — to help you understand and improve your general wellbeing.

PRIMATE is not a medical device, and nothing in the Service is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its outputs are estimates for general wellness purposes only. Never ignore, delay, or replace professional medical advice because of something PRIMATE showed you, and do not use the Service for medical emergencies. If something worries you, see a qualified doctor.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to use PRIMATE. By using the Service, you confirm that you are, and that the information you give us about yourself is accurate.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to it secure. If you think someone else has accessed your account, tell us at support@primate.health. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).

4. Free during early access

PRIMATE is currently free during early access. The current early-access app has no in-app purchase or payment flow.

5. Your content

The photos, lab reports, and other data you add to PRIMATE remain yours. You give us permission to process them — including through the third-party providers described in our Privacy Policy — solely to provide the Service to you. Only upload content you have the right to share.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

• interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data;
• reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or resell the Service or its content;
• use the Service to build a competing product; or
• upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

7. Our content

The Service — its software, design, text, logos, and graphics — belongs to Primate and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own wellness. You may not reproduce or reuse the Service or its content without our permission.

8. Availability and changes

PRIMATE is under active development — features may change, be added, or be removed, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. During beta periods in particular, things may break. We do our best, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service — including decisions you make based on the app's scores, estimates, or suggestions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 7, 9, and 11) survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as PRIMATE evolves. If we make significant changes, we will update the effective date above and let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
